Daniel Zayas

> piano, guitar, bass, drums, ukulele, mandolin

As a music major graduate and professional musician, Daniel Zayas has over 25 years of music training and performance experience. He is accomplished in piano, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar and music theory. Daniel’s well-rounded knowledge of multiple instruments and music as a whole, combined with his dynamic personality makes him an incredible instructor. He has experience in many genres of music and specializes as well in worship platform training.

Additionally, Daniel was employed at Christ Fellowship as a Youth Worship Leader in which he led worship, developed student bands, wrote and arranged music and directed youth choir. For five consecutive years Daniel also toured with the national act band “Tenth Avenue North” playing lead guitar, keyboard and BGV.

Daniel’s passion for music and people has been reflected in the past fifteen years of his teaching history. He is gifted in communicating music principals by integrating his fun and creative energy with excellence in music instruction. Currently, he is a Music Director at Christ Fellowship and owner of Zayas Studios.


Melissa Vega

> vocal and piano

Melissa Vega is a highly experienced private music instructor with over 20 years of training in vocal and piano. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Palm Beach Atlantic University and teaches a broad range of music genres including classical, pop/contemporary, jazz, broadway and worship.

In addition, Melissa is knowledgeable and experienced in audition preparation, singer song writing and chording. Her performance experience includes a variety of classical pieces, as well as an extensive background in leading worship.

Melissa is dedicated to excellence in her teaching and strives to not only provide each student with high quality instruction, but also using musical development as a catalyst to help her students grow personally as well. She is intentional about developing a strong teacher/student relationship and creating a positive, encouraging environment for her students to flourish.

Frank Carter

> piano

Frank has 25 years of training and experience in classical piano and holds a Master’s Degree in classical piano and church music from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary School of Music, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in classical piano from Hobe Sound Bible College. Being well versed in all areas and genres of piano, Frank teaches classical, worship, pop, composition, song writing and much more from beginning to advanced levels.

Having extensive performance experience, Frank has been a musician in many classical orchestra performances, has played keys in a touring band, is an accompanist for Palm Beach County’s Solo and Ensemble and is currently and has been a worship leader for over 10 years. In addition to piano, Frank also is skilled in preparing and developing students for worship platform.

Combining his professional, audience-related experiences with his extensive formal training, Frank has a well-rounded approach to each lesson to help students discover and sharpen their musical abilities. Whether a student wants to pursue a music career or learn piano as a hobby, Frank is passionate about teaching students how to utilize music as a personal outlet and the importance of developing the ability to share their musical gifts.

Sarah Allen

> piano

Sarah Allen brings over 15 years of classical piano training and a wealth of teaching
experience to Zayas Studios. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Piano Performance
from Florida Atlantic University, in addition to being a piano major graduate from
Dreyfoos School of the Arts and BAK School of the Arts. Sarah has taught for several
years at Florida Atlantic University’s TOPS piano summer programs and has been on our Zayas Studios teaching staff for 8 years. She has also played alongside Libby Larson,
one of today’s most renowned female music composers.

We are fortunate to have Sarah apart of our teaching staff and value her patient, personable and knowledgeable approach to music lessons. Accomplished as a classical pianist, her strong foundation of music theory is of great worth to each of her students. She is a wonderful piano teacher for students of all ages – challenging and inspiring them to grow in the art and love of piano.


Kyle Brown

> guitar, ukulele

Kyle Brown brings 13 years of guitar experience and is a graduate of Ocean’s Edge School of Worship. At Ocean’s Edge Kyle studied guitar, music theory, music business, music technology and song writing. In addition, he privately studied guitar under Dan Lowenberg (the head guitar instructor at Ocean’s Edge).Currently, Kyle has been the lead guitarist for Christ Fellowship’s Stuart Campus for the past four years and is also the lead guitarist for the local group Band Felix. He is versed in teaching genres of rock n roll, blues, country, pop, metal, contemporary and church music.

As a relatable, approachable teacher, Kyle strives to make lessons a fun and exciting learning experience. He is intentional about creating a lesson environment that produces growth, understanding and a lasting passion for music in his students.


Jean-Paul Lemos

> drums

Having 10 years of experience, Jean Paul is notable a skilled and versatile drummer and is well known in South Florida’s music community. He comes with a wealth of performance and studio background, both local and international. Jean Paul has played at the Kravis Center, Cruzan Amphitheatre, Hard Rock Casino, Wayfest, the Dolphin Stadium and many more. He is currently a lead drummer at Christ Fellowship, in addition to being a drum instructor and professional studio recording artist.

Jean Paul is familiarized with multiple genres, including rock, pop and church music. As an instructor, he focuses on accenting, proper drum technique and works with students to break down and master the intricacies of drumming. Jean Paul is passionate about coming alongside his students to give them the proper training they need to fulfill their musical goals and to encourage them in their progress on a weekly basis.

Willy Vega

> vocal, piano, guitar

Willy Vega is a well-rounded musician and experienced music instructor in vocal, piano and guitar. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Palm Beach Atlantic University, Willy teaches a variety of genres including pop, contemporary, classical and church music.

With over 15 years of extensive experience and training, he has a plethora of performance experience including choir performances at various venues such as the Kravis Center, soloist performances and worship leading for the past 14 years.

Willy has an energetic, friendly personality that creates an encouraging learning environment for students. He is passionate about helping students discover their unique musical interests, develop their craft with proper skill and technique, and exploring opportunities to channel their musical abilities.


Angelina Bell

> vocal and piano

As a passionate musician and instructor in vocal and piano, Angelina Bell has over 22 years of professional training and experience. She is a state certified Music Teacher holding the K-12 FTCE as a Florida Public School teacher and has a WorshipU certification from Bethel University. Angelina teaches multiple genres including contemporary, pop, rock, classical and church music.

In addition to her music teaching experience, she has directed multiple children’s choirs and music concerts, as well as coordinated worship bands. Angelina creates a fun and up-lifting environment in which students are able to develop their musical artistry and confidence while enjoying the learning process. She focuses also on helping students understand the inner workings of music; developing technique but also integrating music theory to create a strong musical foundation.

Bethany Robinson

> vocal and piano

With 17 years of training and experience, Bethany is knowledgeable in many areas of voice and piano including chorus, opera, church music and contemporary styles. Bethany holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Church Music with an emphasis on Voice from Indiana Wesleyan University. In addition, Bethany has had extensive experience as a worship leader both vocally and as a pianist.

Included in her vocal performance experience, she has sang in choirs such as the University of Singers, has had lead roles in musical theatre productions and was a soloist in Opera Maya in Cancun, Mexico. For piano, Bethany teaches multiple styles including classical, contemporary and jazz.

Bethany is enthusiastic and dedicated in her craft and desires to help each student discover their true musical potential. She combines her education and experience with her passion for music to create a learning environment that is exciting and relatable.



Sam Meador

> piano, guitar, bass, drums, ukulele

Sam Meador is a well-versed, highly knowledgeable music instructor with extensive teaching experience and 19 years of music training. He holds a degree in Music Composition with a focus on piano and guitar. Sam teaches multiple instruments including piano, guitar, bass, drums and ukulele and instructs genres of music in classical, contemporary, pop, rock/metal and worship.

In addition, Sam is versed in sound engineering, music composition/songwriting, music theory and artist development. He has extensive performance experience in bands and is also currently a professional musician for private events and venues.

As a very approachable, patient teacher, Sam has a strong focus on individualization in his teaching methods. He strives to discover what each student connects with musically to provide them with excellence in music education that centers around their interests and goals. He incorporates music theory concepts and fundamentals in a manner that is fun and rewarding, as well as encourages students to discover the joy that can be found in the learning process.

Renee Zayas

> Office Administrator/Owner

With years of experience in the arts, office administration and business, Renee brings an array of assets to Zayas Studios. She attended Dreyfoos School of the Arts with both dance and communications majors, as well as trained professionally in classical ballet for over 13 years. Renee has directed and choreographed several performances and has a wealth of hands on experience in the arts including dance, writing and design.

In addition to her love and exposure to the arts, Renee comes with lots of office administration background through which she helps direct and support the back-end of things here at Zayas Studios. You will often see her face in the front office or speak with her over the phone.

Together with her husband Daniel Zayas, this great duo has built a strong, inspiring foundation for the studio.

Position: Vocal/Piano Instructor
(preferred combo vocal and piano instructor but also looking for vocal or piano instructors)

Hours: Part Time


  • Must have significant musician experience, as well as performance experience in vocal and/or piano
  • Able to teach students ages 5 yrs. to adult
  • Preferred formal music education or certification
  • Preferred teaching experience
  • Preferred ability to instruct church music for students in our worship platform program as well as other genres of music
  • Looking for an enthusiastic teacher who is dedicated to excellence and integrity both musically and personally
