About Lessons

At Zayas Studios we believe in providing excellence in our teaching. Whether a beginner or advanced student of any age five and up, you will learn more than just how to pluck guitar strings or hit piano notes. Music Theory is an integral part of what we teach our students. It provides an understanding of why music happens and how it’s created and aids in developing a student into a true musician. Our teachers come not only with professional training but also with a wealth of performance experience. It is our goal to teach in a way that is unique to each student’s level and learning style and to make learning music as much fun as it is also a discipline.

Complimentary to the lessons, Zayas Studios has at least two showcases a year. This is a great avenue for our students not only to showcase their progress but to also provide a learning platform in performing. We look forward to and work toward these landmarks each semester and enjoy how it brings our studio families together.

Summer Lessons…FUN and FLEXIBLE!

If your looking for something FUN to do over the summer and something that’s FLEXIBLE for you to work around your summer plans, then Summer Music Lessons at Zayas Studios is just for YOU!

Over the summer we offer several weeks of private music lessons for students who would like to keep up on their music skills during the summer or for those who may want to try a new instrument or start for the first time. You can sign up for only some or all of the weeks we have available. Simply choose which private lesson weeks you want to attend (pick a day/time) and pre-pay for those specified lessons and you’re set to go. We will only be scheduling lessons on Mondays/Wednesdays/Thursdays and slots will be filled on a first come first serve basis.

Ensemble Classes

Ensemble Classes will give students experience playing in a full band setting, where they can put into action what they are learning in their private lessons. A current song from different genres of music will be selected and students will be given parts to learn and play together as a band. This fun, motivating class taught by Danny Zayas will be offered to beginner, intermediate and advanced level students ages 7 and up. There’s no commitment required – you can take however many individual ensembles you’d like. Come check it out and jam with us!
